Jeremiah 17:7-8 7 “ Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.  8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,  Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

We all desire to be blessed.  The blessing comes from our trust and our hope in the Lord.  We are not talking about optimism we are talking about hope.

We need to plant ourselves close to the source.  Just like the tree that is planted by the river is strong because its roots are able to go down deep.  We must plant ourselves close to our source the living word.  Let our roots go down deep in Him.

How do we know if we have deep enough roots?

1.  Endure the Heat

2.  Overcome the Drought

3.  Stay Alive

4.  Continue to Produce

Do those four thing characterize your life?

If not then you need to get more radical.
