I have had a computer now for about ten years and I can search the web or surf the web as I heard it said and read and compose emails and Google and small thinks like that. This is the first big step I have taken with the webpage and also facebook. There are so many things to be done here lately and I want to try and keep up.
The other day I heard someone say that they were now on Twitter. That one is new to me, but I will keep on til I figure it out.
This site is really user friendly. Wouldn't it be a good idea to have someone teach those that are not as good on computers, so that they can go to a computer and enter a message to someone either here or Twitter.

Also, I know I am taking up a lot of time and space tonight, but I wanted to let all of you know that I heard just the other day that there are some positions in the church that need to be filled. I know there are some young people with the ability to take over some of the classes like the youth or the children. Many of the older members have been involved so many years, they want and need a time of renewing and refreshing. So, some of you young members, those who are experienced in speaking in front of people and have a grasp on the Bible, don't be afraid to ask Brother Rick to let you help. Just because you are young and maybe feel like you haven't been a member long enough, if you can stand up and talk to people, young people, older people and people my age, think about it and pray for God's direction and see if He will lead you to be a helper at church.

Thanks

God Is So Good. If you continue to pray for what you need in your life and believe that God will provide, you will receive your blessing in God's time.
Do not get discouraged when it looks as though it will not come; as farmer's sow their seeds in season and expect the seed to produce a harvest in due time so we are to sow a seed of faith and then expect to receive the harvest of blessings. Amen?

I would like to ask all of you for your continued prayers for healing.
I feel good some days and some days I don't, but that is the way it has been since I got hurt back in 1989. Pray not only for a physical healing, but also for a healing of my mental distress, when I start hurting, I become depressed. Depression is somethng that most people will profess to having ans suffering with. I am asking those who are here on this website to pray specificly for physical and emotiional health.

God Bless Everyone,
Brother Rodger DeRamus

Our students at Fleetwood are GREAT! We had a great time at the "Lock Down". We played lots of games, hung out, got to know each other and got into the word with Ryan. Ryan is going to make a great teacher one day and she is getting lots of practice with our students.

THANKS Ryan we could not have done it without you.

I never imagined that we would be filling in as youth leaders, but I am so greatful to God for allowing us to experience the blessings of service.

I would like to thank God for all that he is doing in our lives, and in the lives of our students.

This lock in has to be my favorite lock in so far! The youth were amazing. We had a blast getting to know each other and it was very exciting to meet new youth.

We played multiple awesome games(well, I observed). Like, human battleship, sardines, and we attempted grog. You need to ask Ginger and Jerry about grog. :)

Speaking of Ginger and Jerry, they did a wonderful job organizing this event. I never would have guessed that they have been leading youth for only a few months. They are definitely pros already.

As a church, please pray for the youth that came. We met some of the kids for the first time Friday. Pray they have an opportunity to come back and hear God's word and that we may have a chance to help mentor them and change their lives forever through Jesus Christ.

I can't wait until the next "Lock Down".

Thanks Roger for your words of encouragement. We all need them from time to time. The church is called to encourage one another. We will surely be in prayer for you.

I was not in the service this past Sunday, however I would like to comment on the services we have been having for the last several months. I am not posting this because I know Brother Rick will be reading this, but I have felt the Spirit of the Lord in the services lately more than the whole time I have attended Fleetwood Baptist. Brother Rick surely has the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the song services led by Brother Marshall have helped get our hearts ready to receive the Word.

While I am on the blog, I would like to sincerely ask for prayer.
If you are not aware, I am having memory problems, short and long term
memory. The doctors say it is because of the medication I have taken for many years now for the pain I have in my back after the two back surgeries.
I forget what I want to say and I have problems having a conversation because of it. It is not only hard to talk or remember what I have heard or read, it is very embaressing when someone tries to help me finish my sentences.
So, I ask all of you who read this post to pray specificly for the return of my memory when I try to talk or read. It seems so simple, but it is not due to old age and I can't stop taking the narcotics I take for pain.

God Bless You All

That verse reminds me...I can do all things through Christ, who strenthens me. Without his help, I am powerless. Like Belinda said, thank goodness he is patient and willing to "fix" what we have messed up. Like any good parent, he allows us to make our mistakes and then see what a difference it makes when we listen.

I wish I always went to Christ first instead of wearing myself out trying to fix things in myself. Verse 11 says "all human help is useless" and yes that includes me. God is so good He patiently waits and watches as we try many things with His arms open wide for us to come rest in Him.
