We all desire to be blessed. The blessing comes from our trust and our hope in the Lord. We are not talking about optimism we are talking about hope.

We need to plant ourselves close to the source. Just like the tree that is planted by the river is strong because its roots are able to go down deep. We must plant ourselves close to our source the living word. Let our roots go down deep in Him.

How do we know if we have deep enough roots?

1. Endure the Heat

2. Overcome the Drought

3. Stay Alive

4. Continue to Produce

Do those four thing characterize your life?

If not then you need to get more radical.

We see the last words spoken in Chronicles about Saul. It is like his epitaph. What will your epitaph read? What will be said about you when your life here on this earth is said and done? Saul life it seems was shortened because of his unfaithfulness to God. God had given to him a great responsibility but he failed to fulfill it. Let us be found faithful to the call of God upon our lives.
