WOW what a great time we had at the lock in, or as Bro Rick would call it the “lock down”.

There were 43 God-sent, crazy, wild, fun, nocturnal, and hungry people there!

Were you there? If so comment on it here in our blog.

I really got to know a lot of folks this weekend and it was amazing. There are so many smart and fun people in our youth group. If you think Friday night was fun then you are in for a treat; we are planning a big year and this is just the start! Please don’t be left out, get involved. Be there on Wednesday night and Sunday mornings.

A special thanks goes out Ryan Dowling for her help. She did a great job teaching us in the Bible study lessons and worked tirelessly in watching, caring and serving the youth in this event.

Last but not least I would like to say : “Thank you LORD for the privilege of serving in this ministry”.

Seeya on Wednesday!!

P.S. - Stay tuned for pictures, they will be posted in the Media/Pictures page soon.

This lock in has to be my favorite lock in so far! The youth were amazing. We had a blast getting to know each other and it was very exciting to meet new youth.

We played multiple awesome games(well, I observed). Like, human battleship, sardines, and we attempted grog. You need to ask Ginger and Jerry about grog. :)

Speaking of Ginger and Jerry, they did a wonderful job organizing this event. I never would have guessed that they have been leading youth for only a few months. They are definitely pros already.

As a church, please pray for the youth that came. We met some of the kids for the first time Friday. Pray they have an opportunity to come back and hear God’s word and that we may have a chance to help mentor them and change their lives forever through Jesus Christ.

I can’t wait until the next “Lock Down”.

Our students at Fleetwood are GREAT! We had a great time at the “Lock Down”. We played lots of games, hung out, got to know each other and got into the word with Ryan. Ryan is going to make a great teacher one day and she is getting lots of practice with our students.

THANKS Ryan we could not have done it without you.

I never imagined that we would be filling in as youth leaders, but I am so greatful to God for allowing us to experience the blessings of service.

I would like to thank God for all that he is doing in our lives, and in the lives of our students.
