G.R.O.W. - God Rewards Our Work

Our G.R.O.W. Outreach is one of the most rewarding opportunities at Fleetwood Baptist. G.R.O.W. stands for “God Rewards Our Work.” This outreach tool is one we hope to use to reach out to the Brookwood/Peterson Community. A G.R.O.W. team meets on Monday night at 6:30 for an hour of outreach via letters, calls, visits and childcare.

The five principles of G.R.O.W. are as follows:

Sowing and Reaping: God’s principle of the harvest; if you do not sow, you do not reap.
Involving every member: Everyone can write a letter, make a phone call, or make a visit.
Having fun with outreach.
Making quality time greater than quantity time.
Reaching out by divine appointment: If we just say yes, God has the opportunity ready and waiting for us. God is always working, are we?
This is a unique outreach program that requires only 12-15 hours a year!! Are you up for the challenge? If so, there are three basic qualifications for a G.R.O.W. participant at Fleetwood Baptist:

YOU MUST BE A CHRISTIAN!!
Commit to being present at G.R.O.W. 12 times a year!
You must be correctly motivated: You should desire to see Fleetwood Baptist grow, but love for the Savior and sinner should be the primary motivation for each G.R.O.W. participant!!
Thus far, this has truly been an exciting experience at Fleetwood Baptist. Be a part of “The Great Commission”; see what happens when a church is active in God’s plan.
